for one body!

I wouldn’t say things are on a roll or anything right now, but they’re coasting along alright.

I had a job lined up, it fell through & so I’ve been babysitting this week for 3 kids while their parents on are on vacation in Savannah. To clarify, the kids are 4, 8, and 12. Easy enough, but we’ve had some upsets because, of course, they miss their parents when they’re gone for 4 days. I’ve also contracted the plague from these little monsters (read: sore throat). This gig, thankfully, is ending tomorrow.

When God closes one door he definitely makes sure to open another because I got a call today from Amanda, a mother of two very precious boys that I have been babysitting for about 4 years. She needs me to nanny for her starting next week :) So see..? The position I was interviewing for was paying a ton, but it just wasn’t the right fit, & so God knew this & knew that I would have been miserable there. He took that off my shoulders & presented me with a new opportunity!

And to top it alllll offf… I have a roommate now! Living at Charles’ all alone was going to be a little lonely, but I was blessed with a phone call last night from Charles saying that one of our friends wants to take the other room. So now I’m not stressing about how to afford to decorate two rooms..haha I’m currently stalking Pinterest to find some cute ideas on how I want to decorate my new room. I officially move my things into the apartment in mid-May so I just need to tie up some loose strings and get the creative ball rolling!
